Why Waterjets work so well in the Metal Industry.

Unlike other metal processing using flames, arc or laser cutting waterjets produce virtually no thermal charge to the cut surface. The results are no heat-affected zone to parts, and a reduction in machining time. The process leaves a smooth edge quality, as they exert little or no vertical face, Waterjet do not require extensive part clamping, giving increased productivity with a cleaner & safer operation. We can program for individual requirements, a speed can be allocated to any entity of a drawing to obtain both the best price and quality.

The Flow software used in conjunction with other CAD based software allows Australian Waterjet Cutting to cut directly from customers DXF or DWG files, this enables a greater quality control of part cuts and also a shorter production time. By using customers supplied CAD files our machines are reading directly from your 1:1 drawings assisting with quality assurance.

The waterjets flexibility and versatility benefits the metal industry by being able to cut all sizes from 1mm to 150mm and types of material, and delivering customers a greater scope in quoting a larger range of metals.
